Things to Do
There’s always something fun to do in Port Saint Joe. Check the Gulf County Tourism website for an updated calendar of events going on in the area while you’re visiting.

- Salt Air Farmer’s Market
- Rish Recreation Area (olympic size swimming pool and beach access)
- Go to St. Joe Beach or Mexico beach to change things up a bit.
- Grab a pizza from Hungry Howie’s and have a picnic at Bay Beach (located just past the Cape San Blas Lighthouse) while the kids play in the bay and watch the sun set.
- Climb to the top of the lighthouse to get a panoramic view of the town and bay.
- Rent a pontoon boat for the day and go to the point of the Cape
- Rent kayaks or paddle boards to explore the bay (neighborhood boardwalk will have access into the bay when completed-Summer 2024)
- Ride horses on the beach
- Play pickleball, walk the boardwalk overlooking the bay, and take kids to the playground at Salinas park
- Take the kids to play at the “Pirate Ship” or 16th Street park
- Play disc golf at 16th Street park
- Visit St. Andrews State park (and if you have a boat consider taking it over to Shell Island to see all of the dolphins over there)
