Getting Here

If flying, the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 1.5 hours away (The airport is located in Central Time while our house is located in Eastern Time.) Our family usually rents a car from the airport through Costco Travel. Guests have also good experiences renting cars through Turo.

We generally do a big grocery run while still in Panama City. Coming from the airport, you will pass by both a Walmart and Aldi. If you eat a lot of Chick-fil-A , grab some here before you go any further! There are several grocery store options in Port Saint Joe also.

Rentals & Groceries

If you’re in need of beach equipment rentals, there are multiple businesses in the area that offer a wide variety of items. There’s even companies that will stock the fridge for you before you get here!

• Stocking the Fridge: Coastal Concierge or Instacart delivery
• Beach Equipment/Bike Rentals: (we offer an umbrella and approximately 8 beach chairs at our property for our guests to use) Scallop Cove Bait & Tackle Shop or VayK Gear for additional rentals
• Pontoon Boat Rentals: (these can book up weeks/months in advance) Cape San Blas Pontoon Boat Rentals or Scallop Cove Bait & Tackle Shop

Packing List

An essentials starter pack is provided at the beginning of each stay, including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee, laundry and dishwasher detergent, body wash, shampoo.

Approximately 12 beach towels are provided and 8 beach chairs. Some beach toys are also available.
